Half-hearted defense of the Crappy “Surface” Experience

In a blog post where he back-pedals away from his first [now removed] post on his terrible experience setting up a Microsoft Surface device [and after a phone call from Microsoft themselves], this is his new “rationale” to explain how difficult it was to set up:
“but with anything as complex as the Surface – and as necessarily big an organization as Microsoft is – it isn’t surprising that this slipped through the cracks.”
Yeah. Because big companies find it more difficult to create complex devices. And manage their creative teams.
