Winner of the iTunes “Best of 2015” & “Best of 2016“, and winner of “Best History Podcast 2016” by the Academy of Podcasters.

Lore is an award-winning, critically-acclaimed podcast about true life scary stories. Lore exposes the darker side of history, exploring the creatures, people, and places of our wildest nightmares.

Because sometimes the truth is more frightening than fiction.

Each episode examines a new dark historical tale in a modern campfire experience. With more than 34,000 5-star reviews on Apple Podcasts and over 325-million listens, that’s clearly a good thing.

Television Adaptation

Aaron worked with the producers of The Walking Dead and Amazon Studios to bring a television adaptation of the podcast to Amazon Prime Video.

The first season premiered on October 13, 2017. You can read more about the project here. Season 2 premiered in October of 2018.

Amazon Prime members can watch both seasons here.

The Book Series

In 2017, Aaron partnered with Penguin Random House to publish a three-volume set called The World of Lore.

Each of the three books—Monstrous Creatures, Wicked Mortals, and Dreadful Places—contain stories from the podcast, as well as new tales and gorgeous illustrations.
